Health, Medical, & Emergency Resources

The Animal Poison Line is an emergency resource to use when you're concerned your pet may have ingested a toxic substance.

Calls cost £35-45, and payment will be taken before your call goes through.

This service is operated by Vet scientists, and they can advise you on next steps, eg. seeking further treatment, plus can provide your Vet with assistance.

Heat Stroke First Aid

This video from the PDSA covers what to do if you are concerned that your dog may be suffering from Heatstroke.

Heatstroke is a life-threatening condition which can take as little as 5 minutes to kill - if you're worried that your dog may be afflicted, it's critical that you seek professional medical help as quickly as you can.

This site has some more easy stuffed Kong recipes, plus some great tips for prep, including as pictured above, placing your Kong inside a mug whilst adding more liquid filling then freezing.

Search & Destroy is a game I've come up with (although it most likely already exists elsewhere!) that allows your dog to express their natural instinct to shred stuff. Check out my full blog post on it by clicking the image above!

Practitioner Directories

The Karen Pryor Academy is a leadin educator in rewards-based training, and qualified practitioners can be found around the world, so it's a good place to start your search internationally!

The IMDT Directory allows you to find IMDT Qualified Trainers, Behaviourists, and Puppy Instructors across the UK, plus parts of Europe, Hong Kong, and Australia!

You can find me there for instance, and this is a great tool for finding practitioners in different areas.

The CCPDT is a popular certification board in the US, but you can also find qualified practitioners around the world, making this another good place to begin your search outside the UK.
