Breed Specific Legislation - it’s time for a change
The current system is failing us all - owners, dogs, and the general public. Breed Specific Legislation does nothing to address the root of the issue, which is poor ownership or deliberate misuse and mistreatment of dogs - any dog can bite, any dog has the potential to kill. Wasting public money on seizing and destroying dogs based on nothing other than their appearance is ludicrous, and after 32 years with dog bites only continuing to rise, we’re more than overdue a change.
